ICIMOD is a regional knowledge development and learning centre for mountains and people which is organised by eight countries of the Hindu Kush-Himalayas. These beautiful photos show how globalisation and climate change influence the landscape and people of the region. HAT-J is an NPO for mountain environment protection based in Japan. We hope environment specialists of the world and Japanese citizens who gather here will recognise the present situation which Himalayan people are facing. |
