This parallel session brings together experts and policymakers to discuss how countries can institute the right conditions for SDG implementation. It will be organized in Davos Style – as informal but informative discussion among participants.
The session will start with two short framing presentations. The panel of experts and policy makers will then offer their views on what countries will need to do to get ready to take action on the SDGs. We can expect a facilitated but open and critical discussion on what practical actions can be taken in the short run, and how different types of state and non-state actors can assist readying countries to take action on the SDGs.
